Over 22 years ago, when legwarmers and hair gel ruled the world, a company was born. ConArtists - The home of Theatresports™, kicked into life in 1987 and has never looked back. Since then their hair may have calmed down BUT their enthusiasm to make you laugh has not, and they have become one of the most trusted and successful entertainment companies in New Zealand. Employing the country’s best comedy improvisers, ConArtists will turn your conference, corporate training or event into a professional, energised and enjoyable experience.

Theatresports Youth Programme

Many of our current company members cut their improvising teeth at school with The Theatresports Youth Programme (TYP). If you like the sound of making people laugh while making stuff up…then this is the programme for you.

Our experienced tutors will come to your school and coach you in the basics of improvised comedy. Then, once you have the skills, you can enter competitions against other schools to see who will be the glorious Theatresports Champions of the world…or at least Auckland anyway.

Of course if you just want to play and leave the competing to others, we can arrange that too!
